Dr. Mellion's office came to teach us about dental care.  Some of the students in our class got to participate in the play.  Here is Bad Tooth Bart along with some of the Plaque Posse.

Life Cycle of a Bean Plant

We are planting bean seeds for our science unit on living things in Ohio.  We are going to observe and record the changes in our bean plants over the next coouple of weeks.

Jack the rooster visited us today during Fundations.  We really enjoyed getting to pet him.  Thanks to Hannah and her family for bringing him in today.

Today we are wrapped up our unit  in social studies.  We played a game of Whack-a-Mole on the mimio to practice for the end of unit test tomorrow.  Some the terms we focused on in this unit were landforms, regions, climate, equator, hemisphere, poles, etc.  We also learned about cardinal and intermediate directions, and how to use a compass rose on a map.
