Counting Coins

We love to use technology whenever we can.  Here we are using the mimio to stamp coins and count them.  The mimio allows us to interact with our whiteboard.

Sound Energy

We had a lot of fun exploring how vibrations make sound.  All we needed were some rulers.  Who new we could turn our rulers into musical instruments?  We created our very own ruler band while exploring sound energy.

Exploring Sound

The students are exploring how sound vibrations travel through solids.  We put our ears to one side of the desk while we scratched the other side with our fingernails.

Sign Puzzles

In our social studies unit we were discussing rules and laws.  We talked about how rules and laws are posted on signs in our communities as reminders to follow them.  Then, we each made a sign.  We turned our signs into puzzles and our friends tried to put them back together.

Halloween Party

Water Cycle Bracelets

We are making bracelets that help us remember the water cycle.  Each bead represents one step of the cycle.
